Well, my blog has been pitifully neglected, but I decided to do this.

Now. What book am I most thankful for? That's actually a really hard question. I have so many books that I love, and even more that I want to read eventually, that there isn't just one I could pick. Besides, they all keep leading me back to one thing: the people in my life who have led me to finding these great books.

Like my friend Sierra, for example. She's the one who introduced me to the wonderful world of YA novels. Before, I hadn't even known that section existed at my public library. Now it's really the only place I go.

But, back to the books. There are just SO MANY books that I could say I'm thankful for, so many that I just can't pick! But I'm going to have to try, won't I?

I'm going to say The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak. This book is one of my favorites, and it really paints a picture of what life was like in WWII Germany. I was actually a bit intimidated the first time I looked at it, but I am SO GLAD that I didn't let this put me off. Honestly, if you haven't read this book I highly suggest you do.

The Nothing Drawer

When you were little, did you ever have a drawer in your dresser that wasn't for anything, just a place for you to throw everything that didn't have a proper place? Well, that is essentially what this is. The stuff I put on here is all the little stuff (and some bigger stuff, too) that doesn't have its own place. There isn't really a proper "theme" to this blog, in the way some are travel or crafts. Basically, it's a big, miscellaneous mish-mash. Enjoy your time here. :)
